Below is explained how you can connect the access point or “WiFi box” you ordered for use within the Wifibri wired network, in order to create a wireless signal within the room / studio / apartment.
Requirements for connecting a device:
- Wifibri installed on the room / apartment
- Wired internet
- The ordered access point

Mikrotik hAP Mini
In the box

- 1 hAP mini,
- 1 power cable
- 1 Ethernet cable 1 meter
Configuration
Pay attention! This device is already preconfigured, nothing more needs to be done with it and you can connect to it immediately. more about this further
Connecting
Pay attention! images are for reference only. The real situation can be different
First, plug the network cable that comes with the WiFi box into the wall socket or if there is a fixed cable, use that one instead.
Then you connect the ethernet cable to the “Wifi box”. You do this by clicking the ethernet cable on one of the ethernet ports. You plug the power cable into the wall socket and then into the device on the provided micro USB port. If everything is OK, the link light on the corresponding port will turn on / flash.
Connection with wifi
After the “wifi box” is connected, it will broadcast wifi, the credentials of the wifi are:
- SSID 1: Wifibri
- Password: wifibri account login and password
- SSID 2: Wifibri public
- password: No password
